Bears In A Cave

We learned a fun new math game today. It is called Bears In A Cave. Each student finds a partner and gets 10 counting bears. One child closes their eyes while the other one takes some bears and hides them in the cave (plastic container). When the child opens their eyes they have to figure out how many bears are in the cave. This is a great way to visualize different ways to make 10.
